“Takin’ it Back With Barack” was born of real admiration for Barack Obama and horror of four years under McCaine and Palin.

Louis Jordan’s Choo Choo Ch’Boogie had always been one of my favorite songs, and when the words “Takin’ it Back with Barack” entered my mind one night, I knew that this song had to be written.

About 600,000 people worldwide watched this video, but the most thrilling thing of all was hearing from Obama’s Campaign manager, David Axelrod, that The President watched the video and it “cracked him up”!  That’s as good as it gets in my book.

Rest in Peace to our wonderful drummer, the legendary Wally “Gator” Watson, who passed away September 6th, 2010. I am so privileged to have worked with him.
